I am also in east boca, and I was just issued a mandatory order to evacuate, and the elevators in my building were promptly cut off afterward. Every gas station in a 10 mile radius is either closed, out of gas, or has lines around the block and all stores are closed. I'm native to New York and I have never experienced a hurricane , so naturally I am hoping my 11 am flight to Washington tom will go out... Good luck to all that are staying.

Karl and dmg

We can only hope Frances prefers to spend time out to sea.

I've already checked into a shelter in Boca just to be sure and will return back to it if things get worse.

Best wishes to all and thanks for the prayers.
