2002 clk 55 convertible top wont go up
Can anyone show me a flow chart for checking all of the electrical switches and components on a w208 soft top? Top wont go up.

Lets start with the basics,
Fluid level, Windows operational, Control switch blinks or starts the pump. etc..
Some of these get really long winded and difficult to resolve on the internet but we get r done.
what happens when you try to open or close the top?
He is a 2010 GLK which changes the Control sequence of Operations. I bet the rear windows are not up or down all the way.

I would like to thank clk55 and gatormb for the responses the top started working after a serious of checks and rechecks and some adjustments however I gave the car back and they found a leak and swapped the pump and solenoid assembly again, so now it is back with I believe the 3rd pump sol assembly,used, and now it only goes down until its time to put the soft top in its hole and then it stops and blinks and wont go back up either until I do some manual stuff and then it will go back up and lock into place. Would that not be a solenoid going out in that stage of the procedure? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

I believe you have a damaged cable in the harness somewhere in the tops folding areas.
The W208/209 has prior issues in the wiring near the passenger bow hinge.
