Hello! I have an 04 CLK 55 AMG with about 151k on it, just wanted to post to see what you guys think I should be looking into replacing even as far as tuning my car for a better drive, only problem I've seen with the car was the last time I replaced the tranny fluids I found in the tray small pieces of metal I guess from the tranny, but the tranny doesn't slip and if need be to replace I've found one for around 1k, also another problem I seem to have is around every 800-1000 I miles I have add a quart of oil, and sometimes my engine smells like oil may be burning, and sometimes when I kickdown my cats smell pretty bad... any suggestions as to what I should look for and any other information about tuning or replacing parts at these miles please let me know! Thank you!!

I think you are wasting your money---think about taking the family to Disneyland--you will get more mileage.


Don't worry about the smelly cats until you get a emissions CEL---run the car for an hour at 80!
