FSS message " B Serivce in 28 days"

FSS message " B Serivce in 28 days"
In my 2001 CLK55 I just got this " B Service in 28 days" message in the dash MFD. I have never gotten this kind message before and just a few days ago I had 3800 miles until B Service. Any idea what I should do? I changed the oil couple of weeks ago and I figure another 4000 miles the dealer will change it again later in the summer. Now with the day counting down, I am quite confuse.

I just found out from my service adivsor today the message in my MFD shows up whenever the car isn't driven much or garaged and it is another form of reminder for service.

yes, when the car sits for a while or isn't driven often, it discounts the mileage count down and just gives days. This is most common on cars that don't accumulate 10,000 miles in one year, after that it just does days.
