CLKW208 Lowenhart Alloys Advice 19x8j
Hi, I am new to this forum and have just bought my first ever Mercedes. Its a CLK230 W208 with 90000 miles. Hello everybody!
I have just bought some used Lowenhart LD2 alloys for the CLK.
I would like advice on what size spacers to use with these alloys for the best fitment possible without any arch work needing to be carried out.
The Lownhart alloys are 19x8J Offset 45 and tyre size 225/35/19.
I know standard offset for standard alloys is ET35, but just wondered if the rear wheels need a different size spacer to the fronts.
Also the alloys centres are larger than the hubs. I think 72.6 to 66.6 spigot rings are what I need but confirmation on this would be great.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! I will add picture once fitted for all to see and comment on, hopefully soon. I am also going to read through old posts on here to see what useful information I can find.
Kind Regards James

Update
After finding all the information online that I could and with no replies on here I decided to go with 15mm spacers front and rear to bring the offset of each wheel to ET30.
I ordered 4x hubcentric from JJC race and rally. The rear spacers fit great and the rear wheels are fitted. The wheels do sit into the arch slightly more than I thought they would but the car will lower well. Maybe I could have gone with an even larger spacer rear?
My probelm is with the front now. The JJC spacers will not fit over the front hubs. Is there a spacer anybody could recommend that fits over the front hub of the W208 that is 15mm and hubcentric? Advice welcome

CLK Lowenhart 19" Alloys Now Fitted
Just an update.
The H&R 30556659 15mm Spacers fitted the front hubs perfectly The 19" Lowenhart alloys are now fitted
I think I could have got away with larger spacers on the rear, possibly 20 to 25mm but dont have any to test.
Below is how the car looks so far!
