popping sound near steering wheel when starting

popping sound near steering wheel when starting
Hey guys
This weird sound started to happen a few days ago. I'd start the car and while still in park I'd hear a 'pop' sound perhaps every 5 seconds or so for maybe 5 or 6 times and when I drive this sound stops.
When I have my hand on the steering wheel I could feel a slight vibration with the popping sound.
The car drives normally but I'm puzzled buy this sound. Anybody know what this could be?

The sound from my Mercedes Benz w203 C320 goes off randomly. After some hours, when I turn the system on, it produces sound for a few seconds and go off again.
Can anyone help me out on how to resolve this problem?

Hey if you have the oem tape deck fold down display the door can come stretched and not hit the black pin located behind it .
this triggers a reminder to close the tap door if its the same beep tell it turns the radio off hope that helps
