CLK55 AMG GEAR STUCK IN PARK
Hi all !!!
My first ever post on here. I really need your help please!!
Ive got a 2004 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet. The battery drained twice from lack of driving put a new battery in and now when i start the car i cant get the gear shifter out of park.
Its so frustrating .. literally stuck in my garage. Cannot put in reverse or drive.
Also on the dashboard the P (park) and C (comfort) symbols are flashing constantly. '
No idea whats going on.
Any help would be much appreciated..
harry.

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
The Brake light switch has more than one circuit. They are relatively inexpensive on Ebay etc...
Not the best quality but good for testing and emergency.
There are other problems listed I am not familiar with, Test all fuses as well.
Best, Gator

if this happened after your battery issues, what battery did you replace it with? make sure your battery has the correct voltage and power to work for your vehicle. I do not think the brake light switch is a thing on the w209, I had the same issue with my w208 and brake light switch solved my ABAS BAS lights.
I would say this has something to do with a bad battery/blown fuse, etc
