My 2002 CLK 55 wheels vs. 2012 S550 wheels - Help

I believe I just ate a set of very nice 2012 S550 4matic wheels.
Just bought these on Craigslist from a nice guy that had a new s63 and a 2012 S550. The wheels had new Continentals 245/40/18 and the wheels were made in Italy and painted gloss black.
Since my exiting wheels are these showy Zeringers @ 19 and low profile, I decided to purchase these.
Well, behold it sems they dont fit my car... The center hub seems to be different size on these new wheels. I checked beforehand the bolt pattern etc and it seemed to match perfectly.
Did not check the ET center bore size.

Is there a solution for this problem or did I just threw 800 bucks out the window?

You would probably be better off selling them. If you want then to work you'll need spacers for sure sand new lug bolts. The s550 is 14mm lugs. Also a 245 tire will rub in the front. You need to do way more homework next time.

I had that sunken feeling when I tried to fit the wheel in the hub. Problem is that the hub on my car seems to be bigger than the one on the new wheel. Regardless, these wheels will not fit as you mentioned it will rub in the front.

I did a half *** homework by checking only the bolt pattern and wheel size. Also I saw that all these Mercedes have the same hub bore of 66.56. So I thought it would fit....

Anyone for a set of nice 18 wheels with new Conti's?

All the best!
