Is my 6.2 engine doomed to fail?

So I just got a beautiful 2007 CLK63 AMG with 55,000 miles on it. It runs and drives perfectly. I've been reading about problems with the engine head bolts, cams, valve buckets, etc. Some have called them a ticking time bomb.. Is failure inevitable? Can any kind of maintenance make it last? I plan on putting no more than 3,000 miles a year.

I would definitely get the head bolts replaced. A lot of good information here since we share the same engine: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w204-93/

Retourqe them periodically and drive it like you stole it. it was intended to be driven hard.
