2012 E350 Bluetec, 2014 GLK250, 2007 CLK350 convertible
Dim display

Is there supposed to be a (daytime) backlight behind the displays? My main issue is the middle one which shows mileage, etc. Mine is really hard to read, and I am wondering if it is supposed to backlit or do I need to replace the display itself. 2002 CLK55..

99 E55, 00 S500, 01 CLK55, 01 E320, 04 E320
Yes, it has to be backlit. its common issue. just replace the burnt bulbs
