Does anyone know what this is?
'01 CLK55 m113, ports in between headers. Not sure what it is. Coolant drip/ build up no clue what it could be. Anybody have any idea or ever see anything similar? Maybe could put some sort of sealant to stop it? Any suggestions or info would be great. Thanks.

I'm not sure if the image I uploaded through here posted since photobucket is down. Further research leads me to think it is a "freeze plug" luckily leak is not terrible, but it doesn't seem to be getting better. It seems somewhat accessible and not a engine out procedure but can't find too much more info. Anyone have any experience with this before? Would sealing it with something be the worst idea?
Thanks!
Thanks!

So yeah it looks like the freeze plug is seeping. Any advice whether or not to try a coolant system leak stop additive or some sort of compound from the outside? Will most likely replace all plugs after installing some awesome headers.
