Hello all, been lurking for some time while I was waiting for my Suburban to sell - this past Saturday it did, and I just purchased this silver/grey 2004 CLK 55 at 87,000 miles and three owners.
I had a PPI done by the local MB dealership, and the only issues are some seepage from the oil filter housing (from my research looks like about a 20 minutes and $10 fix) and a torn CV boot (shaft is fine, so just have to replace the boot). Better photos to follow, I'm flying up to Kansas City to pick it up next week.
I owned a 2007 BMW M6 before receiving orders to Korea a few years ago so had to sell it, and I knew I wanted another performance convertible. What I didn't want was the constant fear of VANOS issues/SMG exploding. After doing tons of research on the M113 I'm pretty excited about this car, and am also planning on snagging a CLS 55 sometime in the near future as a daily driver.

Thanks! I'm down in OKC so KC is only about a 5 hour drive for me. Priced very well, and with only 3 owners (each having it for about four years) and the clean PPI I'm pretty confident.
