Worth resealing breather cover at the same time having valve cover gasket replac

Worth resealing breather cover at the same time having valve cover gasket replaced?

At last service when I had a headlamp and trunk partition shock replaced the shop said I had a leaking valve cover gasket which seems to be common. I don’t see any oil leaking but I know this is a common problem. They also recommended replacing a breather element and I’m not sure what that is. I think it was going to add another $180 to the total cost
