Sticky Volume/Instrument Controls on Steering Wheel

Anyone know how easy it is to replace the two instrumentation and volume controls on a 2001 CLK320 Cabriolet? The rubber has gotten very sticky (probably for sun/heat exposure) and I'd like to replace them myself if I can....or have them replaced if not too expensive of a job. Any advice?

Will probably get better responses in the CLK forums - more traffic than the CLK AMG forums.
