MAFs and Air Filters
What is everybody fitting? This is for a 2003 CLK55.
My normal approach would be to use genuine parts, but if Bosch makes the factory MAF and Mann or similar makes the factory air filters I would consider them.

New Mann filters now fitted.
As an aside, the supplier that I used supplied me originally with a Mann C3698/3-2, which was two air filters in a single box. This was not the correct part number.
Looking at most suppliers online and cross checking with the Mann website, the correct part is C3689.
The difference is that the correct part is not as deep (42mm versus 50mm). That means it obstructs less of the airway than the C3698/3-2, although both would physically fit the airbox.

why are my mafs failing , i am number 3 in less than 2 years and using genuine bosch circuit A short same issue this time i stomped on the accelerator got esp failure no throttle response till i reset the key ... car is 2003 clk 55 209 series thanks

2020 E 300 Coupe and 2019 GLS 400
The MAF sensor on my E55 M113, was a PITA. Had to replace it 3 times during ownership. It would go crazy during WOT and would never work correctly again. Going back to stock air filters made things better it seemed as I was running AFe filters.

I use Hengst air, oil and fuel filters filters. Used to use K&N oil filters, but after 5k miles they always came out looking collapsed.
