Please help! Speakers pop and crackle for all sources

Hi everyone, new to the forum as a member but longtime lurker. I just bought my second car: 2005 CLK55 AMG Coupe. Bought the car this past weekend and drove it 3500KM back to Toronto. Drives beautifully and I absolutely love it.
Heres what happened:
- Speakers worked perfectly for the first 2000KM
- Speakers started popping and producing static, but would fix itself after turning off the car and restarting it
- Checked fuses on the drivers side panel and everything looked good
- Removed the audio fuse for 10 minutes to reset, no luck
- Now the speakers do not work AT ALL on "surround" mode, but they somewhat work for "speech" and "standard"
- I still hear crackles and the volume changes randomly on "standard"
I searched through many forums that talk about the fuses and the head unit being the issue. My problems do not seem to apply to any of these posts, if anyone could help that would be much appreciated
Its probably the bose amp, they go bad alot, i went to a reputable shop and had them diagnose mine after getting sick of it, i thought for sure it was the speakers or wiring or something, but it was the amp for me.
replace it and i bet it solves all your problems.
you can find them used on Ebay for pretty cheap, but make sure you have the correct part # and also ive had to return one that actually didnt work that they said it did. but those used ones might not last as long... but nobody wants to paythe $$ for a new one from the dealer.
