Look at this
Quote: The Mercedes CLK coupe is beautiful and very fast in AMG CLK 55 guise. But how's about adding another 84 kW to boost top speed to 310 km/h? Read on...
German tuning firm Carlsson has produced a hot bruiser that does just that - the CLK-RS has 353 kW and a massive 650 Nm of torque at just 2 800 r/min.
The key to this leap in performance is a new supercharger system fitted between the V8's cylinder banks and with a highly efficient intercooler.
According to Carlsson's figures, the RS has a top speed of 310 km/h and does the 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 14.2 seconds.
Modifications to the outside of the car include new front and rear aprons, an RS spoiler, and a large rear wing.
Special shock absorbers
Carlsson has also added height-adjustable Bilstein shock absorbers, which have nine-way adjustment for compression and rebound.
Recaro seats and steering wheel are fitted, as are lightweight 16-spoke 19 inch alloy wheels shod with 235/35 Dunlop SP 9000 Extra Load at the front and 265/30,Dunlop SP 9000 Extra Load at the rear.
Brakes have been upgraded to six-piston brake calipers at the front and four-piston at the back.
The whole package will cost around R179 000 (based on the current euro exchange rate). However, that excludes the R720 000 price of a new CLK55 AMG!
By the way, contrary to what many people believe, Carlsson conversions don't emanate from Sweden, and the great Eric Carlsson, who rallied Saabs in the '60s, but from Germany, and a tuning firm owned by another top rally driver Ingvar Carlsson, famous for his exploits in world rallying for Mercedes in the early '80s. End quote
To convert to US$ (R179000 / 6 = $29833).

Do you guys know that those wheels weigh as much as HRE840Rs? I personally weighed it myself and the same size(19x8.5) and both came out with 25 pounds.
