lights blink twice when I unlock car

lights blink twice when I unlock car
Funny thing started to happen this weekend. Usually when I unlock my car the turn signal lights blink once. Now (but not all the time) when I press the unlock button on my smart key, the lights blink twice. Whats up with that? I think both doors are still unlocking? It still blinks three times when I lock the car always.

...........On a 2000 CLK, I believe the lights blink once if the remote is programmed to unlock the driver side door only. You will then have to press it again to unlock the passenger side door. If the remote is programmed to unlock both the driver and passenger doors, then it blinks twice when presssed.

Well, its no big deal. Just thought it was weird to happen all of a sudden. when I unlocked the doors in the past it always blinked once and it unlocked BOTH doors.....so I know thats no the difference. Hey...as long as it works right? Don't ask...don't tell.
