Wheel Advice

I've got an '01 in gloss black, bone stock except for tint and #01 spring pads all the way around. I don't like the look of the tiny 17" rims and I am wheel shopping. I may have found a set of authentic staggered 18" AMG monoblocks for a decent price, but they're chrome and I have never really been a big chrome fan. I don't want to look like a episode of "pimp my ride" Any input out there? On the one hand these ARE factory rims at a 'reasonable' size. (we're not talkin' 22's here) Would these look cool, or would they be too much? Anybody running chrome 18" monoblocks out there and not mind posting a pic??? If they look tasteful, I will probably pull the trigger. Thanks all!

2001 CLK55 AMG
The chrome monoblocks look "blingy" because there is so much surface area. However, I like the look of the chrome monoblocks. If you decide to pass on the chrome monoblocks, will you let me know? I am looking for a set. Thanks.

I would suggest the 19" CL-style amg wheels, HTH
