Has anyone changed the gas struts of the trunk partition? The old ones are weak and will not hold the partition against the sensing switch. The upper attachment point is easy to access, but the lower one is surrounded by the panels. Do the panels need to be removed to get at the lower strut attachment point, or can it be removed in place?
