New Forum member here, a few months ago I picked up a pretty clean 2002 CLK55 with 115k for $3500. Its a fun little car that likes to eat tires. My plan is to make a nice street car out of it and maybe take it to my local track. First thing I did was cut off the secondary cats plus resonator then weld a straight pipe to the factory AMG muffler. I also installed a custom turn down so I can choose to run with or without the muffler. So far I’ve fixed 4 oil leaks, replaced the MAF and installed new plugs. I’m looking for recommendations on a good budget coil over to run and also if anyone is selling a LSD.
bilstein dampers are a good and relatively cheap dampers, i would also change the spring pads to lower the car a little bit. outside of this, get a good set of tires maybe ps4s and you would be set
