Ordered some new ARB bushes (patent by Meyle)for my 2000 CLK Cab but the garage fitting them reckons they are too small / the bar has swollen and thus the inner bushes are not fitting correctly. They have ordered some of these outer bushes direct from Mercedes but this is rather strange. Anybody else had this issue? Guess I may into a new ARB if the genuine bushes don't fit.
Does it matter or affect the wear rate of the bushes the fact it is so rusty?
