2005 AMG 55 CLK Convertible
Flaps hanging out at either side of my rear window.
I have a 2005 MB AMG 55 Convertible with 86k miles. Fun car. I have two annoying flaps that sit outside my rear window-on either sides opposite each other whenever I close the top. How do I secure these?

I have the same problem with mine. I usally stop the top right before it totally closes and tuck it with my hands then fully close it.
I think because of the deterioration of the rubber its a lost cause

Guys
There is a elastic band that is supposed to pull the water pocket back in as the roof closes. I had the same problem on my car. The elastic band snaps due to age and wear. If you open your roof and the rear window is up and stop at that point, you will be able to see and find the elastic straps. I actually got a thread and needle and actually sewed it back in place. Working fine again. I will see if I can find some pics for you guys.

Broken elastic on mines. To see this, the roof has been partially opened so that the rear window is upright. Let me know if you have any questions but I just stretched that same elastic and sewed it back to the original place.
