CLK w208 mirror and window nor working
Hello again all.
My wife has a January 2009 (so possibly a 2008 build?) CLK320 W208 and my problem is this:
The passenger side (IE: Left - UK car RHD car) window and door mirror have ceased to function. The boot (trunk) release continues to work.
If I disconect the battery for a lengthy period (more than several hours), then reconnect and go through the reset procedure, both then work again but only for 3-4 engine restarts, and/or about a day or so. Then both fail again.
Relevant fuse connections all seem fine and are clean, and have been re-seated several times with no affect.
I can see a lot of similar problems on here and other sites, but nothing quite the same.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome.

Maybe it needs to reset the Door modules (DCM's) or SAM control,
it happens occasionally after battery disconnected..!,,
Prefer if you can diagnose the car first, codes will helps to narrow it for sure..

Many thanks for the suggestions.
You don't happen to have any links for how to do those resets do you?
I presume the DCM is behind the door card somewhere, but where is the SAM located?

You have to diagnose the car first, to see if there's any faults presents,,
if NO faults, you can simply reset the whole system includes (DCM's) by (MB STAR/SDS)..
