Hello all, bought a clk55 amg, when it came the my place I couldn’t get it to start. The battery is good, The steering wheel is locked and the key fob isn’t working to unlock anything. I had my eis diagnosed and it is receiving a signal from the key. I don’t know where else to look other than getting an emulator for my steering lock to see if that would work. Please help if you have any knowledge of what might be the problem. Thank you

Even if EIS receiving signal, doesn't means it should work..!,

depends to the coding, in the ECU for operate the ESL, and authorized to fire up,

i'm not positively sure, but i think you will have to replace or repair the EIS, and coded with a key,,

or get a complete ignition system, "ECU/EIS/ESL/Key"..

Working on the same issue now and have seen lots of video's from a fuse which i checked and seem to be ok but checking fuses that are in the ECU compartment tomorrow, when i put my key in ignition does unlock and sometimes it would allow the key to go forward and just not crank but not now... Check fob battery first, then check to see if fob is sending IR signal when u press buttons on it....Mine is after replacing the 3 v battery... Let's see if we can tackle this and maybe get a guru in here withy some suggestions...
