Hello, I'm new to the group. Recently purchased an '07 CLK 63 cab. My wife found it. My son and I took a trip to West Palm Beach FL and drove it back to Houston, Texas. 1,200 miles. It is for her 50th bday and our 30th anniversary. (we were quite young) Everything worked out.
There are a few minor things that I need to sort out and look to this group for some answers.
1. Do these have auto folding mirrors? I do not see that listed in the convenience menu in the dash options. Maybe started in 08?
2. the hood pad seems to have shrunk about two inches. There are 5 plugs that are missing to hold it in place, but if I replace them, will it stretch? I don't want to rip it. Why would it shrink?
3. I'm missing the clip that holds the passenger front fender to the bumper cover. Anyone replace these? Are they the same part # for the AMG version as standard? I saw something to the contrary.
See pictures below. It looks like someone has been in that fender well at some point and failed to put it all back correctly. One is the driver side that is complete and correct, the other is the passenger side that seems to be missing stuff.
4. I figured out these did not come with spare tires. Can't say I'm comfortable with that.
