Wheels for W209 CLK55 AMG
my dad and i are looking at getting some new wheels for our 2003 CLK55 AMG coupe. currently we have the stock 17's with AMG rims and 245's in the rear. we found out that kleemann has 19 inch 305's for our car but we were wondering if you guys know the best time of practical everyday tires that are at least 18 and thicker than 245's. Thanks

sorry, i accidently pasted something i had copied earlier. on kleemanns website it has an option of putting 19's that are 305 in the rear. and i meant we want practical tires that aren't the type where u have to change every 10,000 miles and are 18 or thiner and thicker than 245 in the rear cause that is stock. sorry about the crapy writing, i was distracted.

I have the Kleemann TS-6 on my car - 19x8.5 with 235/35 front and 19x9.5 with 265/30 rear, and I think Lucas said in another thread that he's got 20x10.5 with 285/25 (from memory) on the rear of his car. I think the thing from the Kleemann site is sort of a typo, because if I remember right, they list every size TS6 even though they don't all fit. The size that I have is what is recommended for the CLK, and although you might be able to get something slightly wider in the rear, it's not recommended by alot of people. Is the car lowered?
