Are there compatible parts for this 5.5 amg engine?
Good morning guys!
Let me give some insight, I just bought a salvage 2004 CLK 55 AMG (i havent receive it yet) and it has blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, i think it will be some pistons rings damage and possibly cylinder heads, and the intake manifold seems damaged.
My questions is, cylinder heads are only for the C & CLK 5.5 engine? Or can I use some other heads from an 5.5 engine, same applies to the piston rings & intake manifold!
BTW this is my first post, so Im popping my cherry on this forum

You can search for engines from the N/A W220 S klass, W210 E klass, C215 CL Klass and R170 SLK klass.
Same engines.
I bought a complete engine (20k miles) off a W220 for $1300 including shipping from UAE.
