Ahmed,
Have you considered ditching the Kleemann suspension for a setup like Speedybenz has? I think it will work on the 208, same as it does on the 202s. I gotta admit....after getting a ride in Steve's C55 monster, I've thought about the swap on occasion, but it ain't cheap either!

I dont have a 55 but i ran once at E-town with my 06 clk500 7 speed trans. The car had 2500 miles on it and it ran a 13.9 @100mph. Now that i have 11,000 miles on it and its finally broken in maybe i can hit a 13.8.. You guys are really moving down that track with your 55's

I can tell you this . !! If I were to do it again!! It would be the headers 1st. !! then the Quaife TBD. You can make all kinds of HP on the dyno. But if you can't put it too the pavement . You are just Blowing SMOKE. from the 1 rear tire

If you ever have the chance to drive up to the Mid Atlantic. Maryland International Raceway sits at about 100 feet above sea level. That plus a cool fall day put me at 13.18 at 106. Spare still in the trunk even. However that was before replacing a worn fan clutch, and ever since she has been a tad more sluggish. I'm seriously thinking about an electric fan however I'm pretty set on keeping her stock.

It seems I'm averaging about 1,000 miles per year for the past couple years. I know my CLK is lonely at times - but at least has its own garage!
Perhaps I'll have a chance to take her out for a spin soon.

She'll appreciate that. I'm closing on a house this week that will FINALLY have a two car garage for myself, and my Fiance. I'm ecstatic that I can clean the CLK now, and keep it clean.

I see. I like reading old threads to see what I have missed in those golden years with W208s. I was looking for an official timing for 1/4 miles on the stock CLK55 and I stumbled to your thread. I know that it goes 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds and low 13.5 seconds in 1/4 miles. It's pretty impressive. I also found out that I like the way W208 look better than the newer model.
