Driver Side Door/Window/Mirror and Climate fan dead

Driver Side Door/Window/Mirror and Climate fan dead
I'm having an issue with particularly the driver side of the cars power options including the driver side seat controls, window and mirror all not working. Everything on the passenger side works fine, even when i switch the mirror control to that side, i can still move the pass. side mirror. If i move it back to the driver side its dead.
I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and when i reconnected it everything was back to normal. Iv'e noticed if it sits for an extended period of time, everything on the driver side will stop working once again, including the climate control fan for the heat/AC.
I bought a driver side control module but have not installed it, however i was hoping someone with the same issue could shed some light on the situation. If everything goes back to normal when the battery is disconnected, do I still need a driver side control module, or is there something else tied into the system that needs to be replaced. The battery is brand new btw.
The car hasn't been driven that much. It's currently sitting in storage and I don't really drive it in the winter. I'm just trying to get this figured out so its fixed for spring. Any info is greatly appreciated!
