Biggest exhaust diameter?
Does anyone know if a 3in true dual exhaust can fit on the coupés? Or what the biggest exhaust diameter i could run with no interference? I'm pretty sure a 2.5 pipe could fit just fine as a true duel exhaust but since im running a M113K they say to try and have the biggest exhaust for boosted platforms.

Your cars a w209? I built a custom true dual exhaust on my 04 CLK55 so know every tight spot. A dual 3” should be fine. The one spot that’s an issue is the right side rear sway bar. It doesn’t have a bend in it like the left side for exhaust clearance. I’ve seen other peoples dual setups where they went up & over the right (passenger side) of the sway bar but it requires a funky kink in the pipe to do that. It’s good for clearance & looks nice when looking under the car but bad for performance. I personally chose to go under the sway bar. I wanted my exhaust to be a free flowing as possible with no unnecessary bends…It hangs a little low in that spot but because it’s in-line with the rear tires I don’t have any issue with scraping.
the next thing I’d say is on a 3” dual setup you will most likely have to run a single 2 in 2 out muffler in the center of the car. I don’t think you’ll have space for 2 mufflers
