Cruise control not working properly

So the cruise control was working fine yesterday.
I changed my wheels last night and today the cruise control won’t work when I’m driving faster than 80 km/h.
Do anyone have a guess what could be wrong.
its 2000 CLK 55 w208 if that helps 😅

Did you figure this out? Just got new tires, same size/manufacturer, switched to all season instead of summer. Cruise control cuts out when trying to accelerate past about 75mph. No errors or malfunctions showing, otherwise drives normally. Ordered a new brake switch but I don't think that's it.

I figured it out yes. It’s the roll diameter on your wheels. So if you’ve put on bigger rims your tires need to be thinner, so that the wheel rotates the same as it would on the old wheels.
I put on some other rims than the ones I bought the car with. Had to buy new tires for those rims, because the roll diameter didn’t match the previous tires/wheels roll diameter

Circling back, hopefully this helps someone who was as confused as I was! The tire shop admitted that the tires I requested were backordered and that they replaced them with the correct size but different speed rating (91H instead of W). I confirmed with my mechanic that there were no errors on diagnostics and returned the car to get the correct tires replaced. Cruise control immediately resumed full functionality. I have original stock rims and all season tires that match the specs on the door frame.
