CLK55 Dyno Result #2
I installed the pulley today... well.. the guy who installed it did not close the coolant cap tight enough that all my antifreeze water came out. Used water to rin the dyno.. ran 7 times total.. it was obvious that ECU learnned how to run the pulley kit gradually. If I had real radiator cooler, the result would have been better I think. So Evo's claim is about right at the crank. now the car is running about 398 at the crank considering automatic's DT loss(21%).
Now next is Carlsson exhaust. I have to say that I am worried about the result since people claim that it decreases hp and tq.
I will figure it out soon.
Q: What upgrade would you choose betwwen Renntech's ecu & airbox and Kleemann ECU and header? I would like to get Kleemann's LSD on top of it but I wonder if it is compatible with ESP system. My guy said it won't unless ESP is adjusted to work with LSD. Any inputs?

But it also has shortcomings.
#1: The steering wheel feels heavier
#2: A/C doesn't work as well as it used to be.(I knew this)
Total installation time is about 3.5 hours. Just as a reference.

Same graph?
Isn't this the same graph you posted before the ecu/pulley upgrade? Just curious as to how many horses you gained...

Oh~ take a look at it again.. There are two graphs you know. The higher one is the hp tq with the pulley. I was driving around and you can really feel 10 whp all over the rpm band. I am not saying this b/c I put it on.. try it.. it's simple and risk free. and actually the steering feels better with heavier feeling like it feels more secure and tight.

On the steering most customer actually like tighter feel, as far as A/C - it should not be affected as we do not change crank pulley.

dont get me wrong I like the feel of tighter steering feel. and A/C works as well as it used to be. I turned it on today and it was still strong.

nonono it's just the way the guy stepped on the gas. last time, he slammed it
later this time. that's what I think. any inputs from Vadim?
trap speed at the end of 4th gear 143 mph.
