I’ve swapped out my rear bowlock (Thanks Klaus) but the convertible switch light and alarm are still going off on my ‘02 CLK55. So Klaus suggested the following: The next step would be following the two wires from the switch in the front latch assembly to the controller and short them at the controller, but I don't have their pin-out. Hopefully, that's covered in one of Serndipity's numerous and most useful posts on MBWorld's A208 CLK forum.
But is there another controller for the microswitch for the front latch for the top? Or is there just one main microswitch controller for all of the switches? And where is it located? Is it in the rear trunk? Does anyone have a pic of it and the pin-out diagram for the front microswitch?
I tried searching but my search skills are apparently lacking. So thanks for your help in advance.
