You can reset the check engine light using a hand held scanner and connect it to your 32pin port under your hood.
Your W208 may not have a 16pin OBD2 port under the dash.

You have a leak in your Evaporative Emissions System. This could be due to a leaking Evap line or as simple as a leaking petrol filler cap. Change your petrol cap first and see what happens.
I had this problem in my R129 and the check engine light went away after changing the petrol filling cap.

Fault Code Po450
I am trying a new fuel cap and would like to inspect the evaporative vapor canister. I believe it is located above one of the rear wheels. Can you tell me which one ? Thanks, Michael

Code PO450
Still working on my fault code PO450. I tried a new factory fuel cap, code still returns. Have inspected all of the evaporative lines and cans. Everything appears fine, any idea why this code returns. Where to look next ? Thanks, Michael

Still working on fault code PO450. I know it's an evaporative fuel issue. Can you tell me where to find the evaporative valve/ purge valve ? I have removed both inner fender wells and can't locate it.
