This Company Will Cover Amg Cars!

Universal Underwriters Group is a third party warrant company. I am buying 24mos./ 24,000 Miles For $2400.00. No deductible. Seems like cheap insurance to me. This company will cover AMG cars. I’m buying my policy thru hollymyers@mboflittleton.com

I called the 888# and they told me that they sell only to dealers. So, then I called my local MB dealer and they told me that they don't deal with them. So looks like I am still in the market for warranty service...

I mean, there has got to be a way to get original MB extended service. The guy told me that it has to be purchased within 1 year ownership of the car and basically told me "good luck with your CLK55 AMG"

One year by the original owner....correct. Unless you bought the car Starmarked, there is no way that is cost effective to get an MB warranty.

Do a search on "Lisa Marie Lehrbaum" and contact her. She may be able to help. Good luck!

How much of your OE warranty is remaining?

.....or perhaps contact Colorado 55's dealer and see if they'll write a policy for you.

Well, I have until Jan. 2006 (a little over 1 year). I am starting my research early. Since you have a 2001, I am assuming yours is about over. How do you cope man? I heard maintanance is a killer on these AMG's... Have you had to replace brakes, etc? If so, how much did they run ya?

Mine's an '02 (purchased new). My in-service date is in June 2002, so my standard warranty runs out in June 2006. My Mercedes-Benz Premium Extended Warranty extends the limits to 7year/100K. Yes, I bought my extended warranty a few weeks before the one year deadline.

I have not had to replace any brake pads yet as my CLK has just 17,000 miles so far. Service has cost me zero, except a couple oil changes.

When my service commitment expires at 4/50, I'll be ready for the expenses

Holly Myres at Mercedes-Benz of Littleton 303-703-7700. Super gal she might be able to sell to out of state. This company will cover AMG.Worst case I"M told is you would pay local MB then send repair bill to warranty company to be remberst. They will not cover brake pads or rotors.I dont know of any who will.I needed new brakes&rotors at 48k,$1200.00 front. W/ rear pads only.

I'm curious, this is my first post. I'd like to say hi to all fellow CLK 55 owners. I have a 4 years left on my CLK 55, but does this we're talking about insurance cover wheels? My CLK has 15K miles.
