Hands-Free Communication System Questions
I recently bought a 2003 CLK55 Coupe and it came with the Hands-Free Communication System. However, the guy who had the car before me upgraded to an SL and took the phone to his new car so he basically left me with the integrated system and no phone. I had a few questions about this and hoped someone could help me out on whether or not to purchase a phone...
What phones are available for the CLK55?
What providers will this phone work with?
Any opinions on these phones will help too... because the only ones that I've seen are pretty crappy - black and white and no camera (not that i really use the cam, but it's a cool feature)
Anything will help!
btw, I use Sprint PCS if that will help you answer my questions.

03 should have had the v60. You can look on eBay.
Options are very limited.
I know they had a phone for Cingular and Verizon but no GSM phones in 03 that I know of. I finally got a GSM phone a couple of months ago when I got a MB v600.

Thanks for yall's help. It seems like the only available MB phones are pretty crappy. And if I want to go w/ a phone of my choice I'd have to buy a UHI kit which wouldn't work with my Sprint Phone. So basically, I'm screwed - it looks like the Integrated Phone System that's in my car will go to waste until newer phones come out, which will be like never. Ohh Well!

I HAD he same problem when i purchased my CLK500. Here is a cheap alternative for you. Its called the MIKbox. It works because I have one. You will have to get the V60 phone or contact Mike from mikbox and he will get you a different adaptor. But the box is like 100 dollars. And you can use any phones and not MB phones. Several guys on the forum have the mik box. Do a search and you will find it.... MIKBOX..
