Man, do you have any bad pictures of the BS? I really like the black CF trunk lip on the white. Enjoy the car! BTW, some race deck on that garage floor would look great.

Thanks. The tint is a carbon 35% that will probably read at about 27% (according to my tint guy). It looks really dark in the pics but it doesn't look that dark in person.

I don't think the BS takes a bad picture. I'm not a fan of race deck, makes me cringe about what's crawling around underneath it. I'm going to stain it or tile it.

I'm married to Dr. Doolittle, I always say that if it ever came down to a choice between me or the dogs, I don't like my chances! They are very cool dogs though so who could blame her.....

Okay, since you asked.....

I'm sorry, there is nothing worse then an overly enthusiastic NFG (new frickin guy) to make everybody that's been here for a while to roll their eyes. This is just such a cool car, I recently sold a primo 1995 Porsche 928 GTS, 5-speed w/12k miles that I said I'd never sell but I just didn't enjoy it. It was such a rare car in as new condition I worried every time I took it out. I know this is 1 of 350, its just different, I intend to drive this one like I stole it! I am truly blessed. Thanks for enduring my over zealousness.

If you have the means and the inclination (life is not a test run and you can't take it with you......), I highly recommend one!

No need to tell me! How do you drive yours? Do you "hammer" it from every stop? All the time? Both?

Depends where I've been......(read celibrating or otherwise) I don't hammer it at every light as my driving record is clean and I'd like it to stay that way besides, this thing makes too much noise and would certainly draw Barney's attention. I do drive very "spiritedly" and always have a V1 hanging from the windshield as a bit of insurance. The picture above of the rubber mark on my driveway was quadrupled last night after dinner! I do plan to take it to the track once it's broken in but also plan to keep it in "as new" condition. I guess if I drove it everyday, I'd get myself in trouble.

Think the question now is for how long will it stay that clean?

CHUCK Z,

I tell you what...its been a while since I read a thread that just made me smile while reading the whole way through!!! (I am sure the pics helped too). (oh and my wife saw me smiling and just shook her head)

Just recently I was talking to my Brother-In-Law and he is starting to do really well with his life that it made me smile and be proud for him as well. ANYWAYS, I just wanted to say CONGRATS on the new ride man..it sound like you definitely deserved it!!

ONE DAY...I too will hopefully be there!!

Greg

Thanks brother! My wife does the same thing to me. Glad you enjoyed it, I'm having great fun. Thanks Greg.

[edit] Greg, our 1st MBZ was a 1999 CLK 430 we bought brand new. Our second was 2000 (1st yr?) CLK55, we got the second one in Charlotte. Owner of the dealership took the 1st. I always loved that body style.

I would make this pic my wallpaper, but I would just feel kinda' dirty, having another guy's car as my wallpaper!

Nice pics – I like the tint.
I just had my BS in Vegas for a week. It was a long trip so I put on MPS2’s - the Corsa’s were almost gone. The difference in stick with the PS2’s was more than I expected – it’s too easy to break them loose. But… I just couldn’t stop with the power oversteer – even in the parking garages. My friends were amazed I didn’t get arrested. Oh yeah – I was 5 for 5 at the high-end valets - even the Palms. The Black was always up front.
