I guess assuming you pay sticker for each? There is a brand new CLK63 BS right now for $118k and a fully loaded E550 would MSRP @ ~$67k and I'm quite sure there are significant discounts on them right now. Just as a point of reference, there is an 07 E550 w/10k miles on eBay for $40k? You might get a high mileage 996TT and a C-class for the current cost of a CLK BS and a E550?

Exactly, Chuck! The other option would be a 996TT for the weekend and CLK55 AMG for the clients. Together that would be around $100K ($65K for the 996TT and $35K for the CLK55)!

Guys, why settle for only two cars? Don't forget you need the SUV for the winter months and the Top Kick or Dually to haul the boat.

I've always come up with 12 as about the right number of cars. Of course, that includes my wife's car wardrobe as well (she has 3), and remember, there are "winter cars" and "summer cars", commuting cars, and "take folks to dinner" cars, tow vehicles and parade vehicles, and of course the essential "go to the movies on a summer night" car. And, if you vintage race, the trailer, 3 competition cars, and one practice car. Oh yes, and the warehouse. It is a sickness. AS

I'm obviously not in the same league as you guys but I understand the needs. The Range Rover is history and we're going to look for that "takin folks out to dinner in" car. I don't have room for more than 5 (I am going to get another lift to make parking the 5th inside easier) and parking anything outside is not an option.

Don't forget the Renegade Hauler and all the motorcycles (I think I have 14 of them right now but it's hard to keep track)

We do all have a sickness and JR is terminal. My wife will be relieved to know some have it worse than me. I have six total and that includes my daughter's JCW, my wife's SUV, my bike and my new work truck for the site (I don't like Dually's). So I guess even at the bare minimum I'd need five vehicles but that doesn't mean either one of my M3 CS (fun DD) or 65 (clients, dinner) are going anywhere.
