H&R spacers/AMG emblem on stock BS
Today I installed the H&R spacers I bought from Evosport on the BS and painted the AMG logo on the stock wheels Porsche guards red. Here's a couple pics - b/f and after on the spacers and a couple of the AMG logo on the stock wheels. I also painted the rear hub portion of the rotor hat silver.
Before spacers:

After spacers (12mm rear/10mm front with longer wheel bolts - more dramatic in person as it really fills out the wheel wells and makes the stance more aggressive)

Just kidding......
I have not tracked it yet, you really think 24mm in the back and 20mm up front would make that much of a diff SOP for a novice like myself? I put 25mm spacers each side on my Cayenne GTS and didn't notice any difference in handling.

It was only a question. I am sure that you would not notice this at all under normal driving.

It just seems that AMG builds the suspension with some fairly tight tolerances. I would hate to cut a tire on track because it comes in contact with the outside edge of a fender under compression.

banner elk? thats right near where i like to go skiing during the winter... sugar mountain. i know east coast skiing isnt great but its a pretty close drive from ATL.
the BS looks great with the spacers, much meaner look to the wheels/fenders. i also really like the red paint you put in the amg logo

That looks great! I would like to see a pic straight on of the back view. I think there's nothing wrong with using spacers as long as they are hubcentric like H&Rs and you don't go too extreme with say a 25mm+ size. It was good idea to add them both to the front and back as it keeps everything (IE: understeer) relatively equal. I know some people just add them to the back only which I think is wrong as it will increase understeer.

nice work chuck. the stance is much improved. 20mm is really not that big of a deal. i think it matters more when you have an all wheel drive car.
