Quote: Glad you got the deal you wanted. How did they determine your trade value since it was in indiana and are they then picking up your SL55 when they deliever the BS. If so I did not know you could do a long distance trade, which opens up some more doors if that is how it works. Please let me know.
I'm not sure how they determined the value of my car. I sent some pictures, a carfax and described the best I could and we seemed to develope a trust in accuracy. I got the car last nite at 11:00. I have traded a lot of cars long distance never having seem them or the other dealer seeing mine. Ferarri in Scottsdale, Porsche in Florida, Lambo in Calif, RS4 in Conn. It is done all the time. I have never run into a problem. I have on occasion had an off brand dealer (ie. MB dealer selling a Ferrari) take the car to the manufacturing dealership for a pre-buy that I set up and paid for. I backed out of only one deal on a Ferrari in Florida being sold by a Porsche dealer. It needed belts and service that they either did not know or were unwilling to reveal, either way I chose to go else where. As long as it is a reputable dealer or even better CPO and you are HONEST about your trade everything is very smooth. Good Luck.

Where in Indiana are you? We could have an all-Hoosier Black Series parade. AS

Thanks for the info. Helps to have the entire country to look at.

I am in the tiny town of Dune Acres (near Valparaiso), so we are a few hours apart. When the weather warms, we can go to Gingerman. Think these are the only 2 BS in Indiana? I have not seen another. AS
