C63, fire extinguisher mounting place???

C63, fire extinguisher mounting place???
Folks I posted this on the C63 section and was advised to also post it here.

I plan to take my '08 C63 on a rally and some club events. To do that I need to mount a 2KG fire extinguisher inside someplace!! Has anybody done that? any advice on the best place to mount it without messing up the interior?

CLK63 Black Series
The best place to mount it is parallel in front of the passenger seat. By mounting it to the floor you won't mess up the interior.

Or you could do it the right way and just install a Halon system with a bottle in the trunk.

Can you simply bolt through the floor pan without hitting anything I shouldn't

wouldnt that interfere with the seat operation ?? Most I have seen are mounted to the seat itself..

The factory mount is on the drivers side attached to the lower seat.
