The real 1000hp AMG...It's about TIME

Who's car is this? Does he frequent MB World? What has been done to engine internals? what kind of trans? If your 800whp figure is accurate that would make it the most powerful MB claimed HP to date and puts it at or near the 1000 crank hp milestone. If those numbers are accurate I would love to see some 1/4 mile times, it's got to be a high 9 second car in the right conditions. All that being said I am doubtful on the 800whp part out of a 5.5 liter block.

It was not confirmed to be whp but hp at the crank.. He does not get online. The car was reported to do low 10 sec 1/4!
I could get a lot of important info from him.
Here is the thread.

If you're willing to build the motor and twin-turbo it, 5.4L (like the M113) is plenty of displacement for 800whp.

Why? Some Porsche owners have gotten 800+whp out of a 3.6L. Or BMW owners, out of a 3.2L. Or Mitsubishi owners, out of a 2.0L. Or Nissan owners, out of a 3.8 or 4.0. Or Ford owners, out of a 5.4L.

Its not about that, its about the weak link. I dont know much about the engine but im assuming its a tuning issue above a certain power range or the block itself.
