What do you think about a Twin turboed C55?
Thats not all to it, It also has a Wii in the back and has been on the cover of import tuner TWICE. A bunch of of other stuff to..
But just like people are saying, don't just think that you can update the engine, without also updating the driveline, brakes and so on. And of course you will need a lot of $$$$$ as your budget are Always increasing.
But I still say go for it!!

Do you really want to do an engine swap? You'll have a real hard time getting rid of the car with a different engine than what came with it.
As I said earlier, perhaps you just want to start with an E55.

I dont plan on selling the car and it wont be sold with the 55k motor if I had to.. I can put the car back to stock including the motor when I go to sell it... Yeah but if what he is saying that is true about the expense than I cannot go that route. I didnt think a twin turbo kit could cost that much...
Anyway, the build appeared to be legit because he posted plenty of photos at the time - had a reinforced tranny and a widened rear-end.

I just got back from a test drive and .....this car without the boost defeat would kill alot of people ..both the competition and the driver ;-). if you are cruising in 3rd and floor it, it is instant wheel spin when the gear box kicks down, you have to be going straight and still then it's too exciting. Really the car is undriveable in the lower gears with the boost this way...but it won't be. It doesn't even feel like a car, it's hard to describe, it's more like a machine that shreds tires!! No worries , the boost defeat will make it useable power. Before when I had the mofified wastegate actuators on (able to run low boost in low gears) the cars was much more manageable. So I am looking forward to the best of both worlds. Quite amazing the shrieking sound and it really just spins those huge 325 PS2 tires as if they were not there!
Everytime I look up after doing just a "kick down test" the speedo says 120 mph, it's really something only takes a moment.
The car drives fine and is actually comfortable, but "firm" I wanted to check the wheel clearances, it's seems o.k so far. I had to modify a few things because the previous bodyshop did not quite make the flares in the best way, so I modified quite a few things and I think it is good. I don't want to find out there is clearance issuues AFTER the next bodywork.
I think this is the fastest car I have ever built, I built a very very fast evo8, it had less power, but much more traction, I wish the drag strip was open...
I'll need to have a low boost switch setting hidden somewhere
I have a lot of little details to do, but we will get it to the bodyshop now and attend to those afterwards.
You will have a problem with passengers in this car they will always being screaming your "Jesus!!" let me out...

This is not a very exotic setup in the tuner world...... but having access to the ecu is the key........ or at least be able to run a piggy back controller for the aux injectors.....
