clk black available in Canada?

Thanks dude. That is why Mercedes Benz Canada pisses me off. Transport Canada does not require the cluster to be replaced as long as you have the digital read out. There is absolutely no reason for this car not to be allowed into Canada.

+1.
So, back to plan B in getting a CLK63 AMG Cab and spending $ to mod the body including quad exhaust, rear bumper, wide body rear fenders, etc.
Has anyone seen a modded CLK63 Cabrio modded like that in Can. or U.S.? Only one that I know about is the VRP one found here and done by Toyz Auto Art in Quebec.

looking for a CLK 63 BS: - 2002 996TT 724hp Techart GT full package Black on Black For sale
I have been looking into getting a BS here or brought over and it looks near to impossoble to have it plated with Ontario Plates. really kind of stupid that a GT3 has the same platform as this and this ok to be plated here and this is not.
Im going to continue to see if it can be done.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, your only option to have Canadian plates on a CLK Black Series is to do a Transport Canada Temporary Import. That is the only way until the car becomes 15 years old.

Rage,
Got my car back into the states. Expected a problem at the border (Cdn passport, Florida tags, Swiss DL) but immigration were really good. We hit snow on the way to Reno so had to turn back and take the long way to Vegas. FYI the cars dont do so good in snow!!!!!!!
Next spring will transport the car up (JR if your reading will send you a note about this).

Where in Liberty Village? I live basically right there and have only seen one on King street one night near the Bar, the Brant House - maybe that was that car as it was white and had US plates - can't remember which state.

Glad to hear you made it safe. I would never drive through the US past October for the same reason with a "summer" car, too much chance for snow in between. I drove it a few blocks the other night when the roads were damp and temps were at 0C, and it was pretty sketchy haha. Don't even want to know what snow is like with the car.
