Looking for a good PPI place near Malibu/Pacific Palisades area
Hello,
Does anyone know of a good PPI place in the Malibu/Pacific Palisades area?
I am the guy that won the bid on the $70,900 buy-it-now car on ebay. Even though I won the bid, I was informed by the seller the next morning that the car was sold that night at the dealership to another party.
I was pretty disappointed, but it turned out to be better since I was able to find another car of much lower milage here locally.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would say just take it to a dealer and have them inspect it. I doubt many independent shops are familiar with the BS.

I just want to make sure that the car was never damaged. Maybe even a good body shop may do.

The best body shop in LA is Beverly CoachCraft. I agree, mechanically, the car should be fine...but I'd want to take a look at service history and make sure it's current as well as check for any warranty items that may have been replaced. Cam position sensors seem to be problematic with the 63 motors.
Other than that, if you really want to be sure about body damage - have a good shop pull the wheel wheel liners, engine tray etc and really get a good look around.
