That really dresses up and completes the back, I don't mind racer starved interiors but can appreciate nice work and indeed it looks good, whether you put someone back there or not. Might even make it more comfortable for when you try and wash the windows from back there!

Weight, whatever you want to add to "your" car as it is your car
, but 15 is not much, some people could lose 15lbs on a diet and make up for it. Know plenty of people that add far more than that in stereo systems LOL, but seem to enjoy the tradeoff. Worse to add it with heavier rims so, enjoy your car, looks good.

Spoke with them and got pricing. They mentioned You provided the belts. Any help on sourcing Part numbers etc would be appreciated.
Thanks for the pics and idea. Very well done indeed!

There's no point in putting in your vin because these parts are not listed for the BS.
I first had the buckets removed by michael angelo's and then took the seat and belts to Hanley Brothers body shop. Negotiate a better price with a body shop because they charged me $1000 to put the belts into the place. Everything in the frame is ready to accept the seatbelts. The belt brackets need to go behind airbags so it's a little more involved than one might think, but I don't think it's that involved.
One other item, I ordered the middle amg plaque from china and the amg seat plaques from swedan. Both are on ebay, and I took these to the upholster. .

Actually dfw but may just run it down there. Thanks very much for the info. If you ever need anything in my area I'll be glad to help. Also I race so if you need track access let me know.
Thanks again!
I'm not sure if it's ok for me to post pricing I will leave that up to op if he wants to share.

I'm sorry I was mistaken for another car, now I know exactly the pictures you referring to.
The price is only for the conversion, the customer had the seat belts install by the dealer, The price you going to spend with us is $ 3800.00 + tax
Here is their note and email contact info.
Happy ThanksGiving to All!

got around...
to finally putting the car seat in the back. The car seat tether anchor is bolted to the frame and seat belt is looped through the back of the seat.
I pulled quite hard and the seat wouldn't budge.

Looks very well made! Excellent craftsmanship! I would personally strip everything out in the back there but since you are a family man, I completely understand why you did it!

Rear axle issue
Wonsuk, incredible job. I am looking to purchase a BS within 6 months and I must install a backseat as you did in order to satisfy wife who requires baby seat capability.
My big question: I've seen conflicting information about why the backseat was removed, and some people argue it is because the modified rear axle of the BS cannot handle much extra weight. I would really like to get a clear answer about this as at some point my child/ren are likely to grow and become heavier. I do not want to have a car that I cannot use to transport people in several years for fear of serious mechanical damage.
The Kicherer group of course has their TUV approved back seat option, which I assume means that perhaps the axle is fine, otherwise they would not do such an install and receive TUV approval?
Please help anyone, I need to know if I'm to move forward on a BS.
Thank you all!

CLK AMG BLACK SERIES (among other German things)
The price above was very good , I know kicherer charge 12 or 15 thousand (!) euro for the tuv approved seat conversion . i wonder if there was more work done ?
