M156 stuck injectors

Has anyone else had problems with fuel injectors sticking open? After a couple of failures I finally got MBUSA to replace all of mine under factory warranty with all new ones. I'm curious to hear if this is a common failure or maybe I just got a bad batch from Affalterbach.

I had a rough idle for about a week before the first one stuck wide open, and that was pretty obvious. The main symptoms were the big smoke cloud that smells like gas, very choppy idle and no power. I didn't try to start the car after it happened but I'm pretty sure the engine wouldn't start like that.
