engine hood shocks
got my car few days ago, and as i was cleaning my car i noticed the engine hood shocks are different , the one on the drivers side has a little red button on the plastic sleeve and it says press 
but nothing happens, the passanger side has no button, can you guys check on your cars, what does that button do, just curious

If you push that red button in, you can stand the hood straight up for easier access to the motor area.

thankyou, so it is only one side then? i think so other wise you will need 2 people, to do that, i am impressed with these little things
