That is huge, keeping it green indeed, but that makes it legal for sale and no hassles or concerns for an owner to get his emissions passed, and to be allowed to drive his car on public roads (or remove said part!), so that is no small obsticle to get Cali to grant their blessed ARB exemption. And that took some investment coin as well, Cali don't just read some paper plea from a company, and slap a car on a dyno, do a quick sniff of your butt and call it good. So this is a real claim, so congrats guys!
